Established in honour of the late Professor Cynthia Goh, a trailblazer of Singapore’s palliative care service, the Cynthia Goh Palliative Care Fellowship (CGF) seeks to create a regional fraternity that will advance the development of palliative care in the Asia-Pacific region.

This fellowship is designed to identify and nurture doctors who will shape the future of palliative care in the region. Recipients can tailor their fellowship to individual needs and aspirations. It is implemented by Lien Foundation’s partner, Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network (APHN). The inaugural group of distinguished recipients were announced at 2023’s 15th Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Conference in Incheon, Korea:

  • Dr Naveen Salins – Head of Department, Kasturba Medical College, India
  • Dr Neo Han Yee – Head of Department, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore
  • Dr Rumalie Corvera – CEO, Ruth Foundation for Palliative and Hospice Care, Philippines
  • Dr Sharon Choo – Head of Palliative Care Unit, Sarawak General Hospital, Malaysia
  • Dr Shirlynn Ho – Head of Department, National Cancer Centre Singapore,  Singapore

CGF seeks to support 30 palliative care doctors over the next five years. More information at APHN’s website.
