Rehab

Rehabilitation is the cornerstone of healthcare. It is the key to regaining function and confidence, helping patients move from merely living to living well.

1 in 3 people globally live with a condition that would benefit from rehab

26% of seniors place top priority on maintaining independence as they age

Each year, ~20,000 adults in Singapore suffer from major health conditions that require rehab

Rehabilitation is whole person recovery.

Rehab therapy and medicine reduce long-term disability, prevent unnecessary hospitalisation and surgery, lower costs, while addressing the physical, emotional and social needs of patients and their loved ones. It helps restore the daily abilities and functions that make each of us feel whole.

Yet rehab remains underdeveloped, under-utilised, and under-recognised. It is often misunderstood as secondary or optional.

We work with partners to change this. Our work involves paving new rehab pathways, piloting rehab programmes, strengthening workforce through capability building, building bridges between organisations, and advocating for rehab’s rightful place as the cornerstone of healthcare.

We will continue to focus on holistic aspects of recovery, bringing together teams of highly skilled rehab professionals to ensure that every patient receives quality rehab care, when and where they need it, so they can live not just longer, but with confidence and resilience.
