Cloud 9 @ Fei Yue explores how Active Ageing Centres (AACs) can serve as community anchors that support seniors from ageing well to the end of life.
As AACs expand across Singapore, the initiative seeks to integrate palliative care principles within everyday community programmes, enabling seniors with chronic or life-limiting conditions to remain connected to familiar spaces and support networks. The pilot will start in two of Fei Yue’s AACs (Buangkok Green and Limbang Green), developing a “through-train” care model with structured transitions to specialist palliative providers. Both centres will also be renovated to better support seniors living with serious illness.
