Despite great strides in development in Asia in the past decade, millions of rural poor still have to depend on polluted water for their daily needs.

Lien Aid was set up in 2006 to help Asia’s rural poor to gain access to clean water and sanitation facilities and has so far benefited more than a million people in Cambodia, China, Vietnam and Myanmar.

It develops and deploys scalable, replicable, and sustainable programmes that can be adapted to local needs to benefit rural poor communities in Asia, implemented by local teams with the participation and support of communities and authorities.
